Dr. Morgan Smith was born and raised in North Bay and area. She began her dental career in 2007, completing both Dental Assisting and Dental Hygiene programs at Algonquin College in Ottawa. After returning home and working as a Dental Hygienist, her eagerness to return to school led her to complete a Bachelor of Science, specialization in Biology at Nipissing University. She Completed this with honours while continuing to work in the Dental field throughout the four years of undergraduate study. Combining her love for dentistry and travel, she continued her education journey by completing a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in Cork, Ireland. She returned home to North Bay to continue her career and give back to her community. Dr. Smith enjoys learning and is constantly increasing her knowledge in many aspects of dentistry. She has taken numerous courses in implant dentistry, sedation, neonatal and infant development. She is a member of the North Bay Dental Society, the Ontario Dental Association and the Royal College of Dental Surgeons in Ontario. Dr. Smith does offer mild sedation (Nitrous Oxide/Laughing Gas) to both children and adults, to help calm and relax those patients who have dental anxieties at their appointments. She strives to provide the highest standard of dental care in a pleasant and comfortable environment. When not working, you will likely find Dr. Smith enjoying the outdoors, hiking, camping, travelling or spending time with her husband, family and friends.
